We have six doggies of our own
who are permanent residents of
the camp ranging in size from 3
lbs. to 13 lbs. - and for the
guys who REALLY like to play –
we have WAYLON, a pot bellied
pig! He doesn’t really pay much
attention to the dogs but
sometimes the doggie campers
like pulling his tail (that is
the reason we cannot go over 20
lbs!)
Camp
(Our home) is located in Dania
near the Hard Rock Hotel.
Drop off for Palm Beach
Residents is at mod.dog Salon &
Boutique – where your baby will
be chauffeured to camp by Kim,
the owner of mod.dog, and
introduced to his/her new
playmates. Sleeping
arrangements can be your choice
– we always feel better having a
crate or bed of their own there
so they have a place to go to
feel secure the first day. It
usually takes them a day to get
used to their surroundings and
then they join the pack and the
super fun daily activities!
Giovanni, the Head Camp
Counselor, is in charge of the
day’s activities on Tuesday
through Saturday and Kim and
Giovanni run the camp together
on Sunday and Monday. We have
an unlimited supply of toys in
different sizes to play with,
and lots of beds and comfy spots
throughout the house to choose
when they feel a nap coming on.
We offer 4 to 5 outside
playtimes per day where the fur
kids are free to run (supervised
of course) on a full acre of
land with a gate built to keep
the tiniest of dogs secured
inside.
You
may choose to have your baby
groomed or bathed before pick up
so they return home clean and
ready
to give you tons of kisses!!

"After meeting Kim at
Moddog, I immediately
felt comfortable with
her and her knowledge
with dogs. I just moved
to the area from NY, and
was petrified to leave
T.J with someone for an
upcoming trip back. T.J
had never been around
other dogs and I thought
for sure we were going
to have to cancel our
trip. Luckily, he met
Kim and LOVED her!!! He
spent 5 days at camp and
could care less when I
came to pick him up! He
LOVED it!! He had played
with other dogs and Kim
even let him sleep in
the bed with her just as
he does at home.
Whenever we go away,
sleep away camp is the
ONLY place I'll put T.J.

Sami has been attending
camp since she was seven
months old. She
absoutely loves being on
of the kids at camp.
She loves playing with
the other dogs - enjoys
the one acre yard to run
around in and most of
all I know she is being
treated kindly and with
care. She even
sleeps in the bed with
Kim! We all do
just fine knowing Sami
is being taken care of
at camp as Kim selects
dogs who will fit in
with the group and Sami
always comes home happy
and healthy. You
can't find a better
situation away from
home!
